Travel Registered Nurse Case Manager Job
Registered Nurse – Case Manager (Travel) in Everett, WA. Start date May 18, 2026 for a 12-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,174 to $2,282 per week. 72 hours guaranteed per two weeks. Shift: 5x8-hour days (days). Work setting: acute care hospital with a Level II trauma center and a dedicated case management/discharge planning team; will provide care coordination across the hospital.

Responsibilities
- Perform discharge planning and care coordination for acute care patients from neonate through geriatrics
- Conduct needs assessments, facilitate care plans, and coordinate with Social Services and the interdisciplinary team
- Manage discharge timing, placement, and post-acute services (including DME orders) to appropriate next-level care
- Document care plans and progress in the electronic charting system (EPIC)
- Collaborate with inpatient teams on admissions, transfers, and resource needs; respond to patient and family questions
- Float across hospital units and both campus locations as required; participate in weekend and holiday coverage per schedule
Requirements
- Active RN licensure in Washington (WA RN) or a compact license accepted if applicable; WA license pending accepted
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- Experience with discharge planning / care coordination in an acute care setting
- Proficient in EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work across multiple hospital units and campuses; weekend and holiday coverage required
- Pre-start modules (~16 hours) and orientation (~30 hours) completed prior to start
- Not a local-only assignment; willingness to relocate or travel as needed
- References from a supervisor or similar role per agency guidelines
