Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric inpatients and NICU III patients per medical orders and established protocols.
- Assess, monitor, and adjust therapies including oxygen delivery, airway clearance, aerosol treatments, humidification, NIV/ventilation support, and suctioning.
- Perform routine and specialized procedures (e.g., endotracheal suctioning, tracheostomy care, ventilator management) and document patient responses in the EMR.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and contribute to care planning and safety initiatives.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensure alarms are set appropriately, and manage supply inventory.
- Ensure accurate Epic documentation for all patient encounters and therapies; contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license (CRT not accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required; NRP required upon submission
- NBRC verification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Teaching hospital experience required
- NICU III and pediatric inpatient experience required; prior travel experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- NICU levels documented in work history; all prior employment entries must include complete work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
- No block scheduling; ability to work the listed shifts in a hospital setting
