Travel Registered Nurse Case Management Job
Lactation Consultant (RN/OT/PT/SLP/Pharmacist eligible) – Pittsfield, MA. Travel, temporary assignment beginning 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,210 to $2,302 per week. Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Setting: hospital-based lactation program supporting inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities
- Provide expert assessment, treatment planning, and leadership for lactation management in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Formulate an interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate goals with the care team.
- Educate and support patients and families on breastfeeding techniques, troubleshooting, and individualized feeding plans.
- Document care and progress in the patient health record (Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred).
- Collaborate on program development, quality improvement, and best-practice lactation care.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts licensure in one of the following: Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist, or Pharmacist; MA Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) must be uploaded with profile.
- Board Certification: International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC); 1+ year of IBCLC experience; minimum 2,500 hours as a breastfeeding consultant (equivalent certifications not accepted).
- Inpatient lactation program experience required; outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education/consultations experience required.
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required.
- Travel readiness: traveler must have own vehicle; profile must include perm address; RTO requests must be noted at submission and no more than 5 days will be accepted; all required documents (including a Supervisory Signed Reference) must be uploaded.
- Profile documentation: Lactation experience details, Supervisory Reference, Board Certification documents, and BLS certificate required.
