Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date March 1, 2026 for 5 weeks. Weekly pay range: $930-$984 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN, following care plans and facility policies.
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately in the charting system.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, condition, and response to treatment; identify and report changes promptly to the supervising RN.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and fall-prevention measures; promote resident safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and consistent resident care; communicate changes to the care plan as needed.
- Maintain professional standards, infection control practices, and accurate documentation of care provided.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state of practice required)
- Ability to work a night shift schedule: 18:00–06:30, 3x12-hour shifts
- Local candidates only
- Experience in a long-term care or geriatric setting preferred
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment
