Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Glendale, California. Begin April 27, 2026 for a 26-week travel assignment. 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. Weekly pay $2,003-$2,032 per week. This ER/trauma-capable position operates within a home healthcare - hospice setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Provide triage, assessment, and treatment for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an ER/acute care setting.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels; coordinate care with multiple disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses; recognize changes in condition and escalate as appropriate.
- Document patient care, monitor progress, and communicate with physicians and the health care team to adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license (appropriate to the work location) or eligibility to practice as a registered nurse.
- NCI certification required.
- Moderate Sedation Training required.
- ER/trauma nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an ER/trauma acute care setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
