Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) needed for a travel assignment in Aberdeen, WA, United States. Start date: 07/13/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,810–$1,919. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (1730–0600), 36 hours per week. Setting: inpatient respiratory care in an acute care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide, coordinate, and direct individualized respiratory care for patients based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer and monitor therapies including airway management, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and ventilation support
- Monitor patient response to treatment, document findings, and adjust plans in collaboration with the care team
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment; adhere to infection control and safety practices
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other colleagues; participate in care conferences as needed
- Support OB-related respiratory care needs and collaborate with relevant teams to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes
Requirements
- Current Washington State license as Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Will practice within the scope of a respiratory care practitioner
- Preference for one year of current acute care experience; new graduates may be considered
- Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wheelchair to bed, 5 pounds overhead; ability to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
- Vision and hearing adequate to perform procedures and charting; capable of working in a high-acuity, fast-paced inpatient setting
- OB experience is a plus and may be prioritized in scheduling
