Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
GGH Level 1 RN Med/Surg 2N - FT D/N, Oncology focus, Geneva, NY. This travel assignment starts 04/13/2026 and runs for 14 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,875 to $1,969. Shifts are 3x12-hour rotating days/nights, with on-call shifts as needed and two on-call shifts every four weeks. The RN role supports adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients with medical conditions in a med/surg environment, aligned with unit-specific patient education and care coordination.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients with medical conditions within Med/Surg, under the supervision of the care team.
- Assess patient and family needs; develop and adjust an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and document clinical information accurately in the patient record.
- Provide patient and family education to support understanding of self-care after discharge and health maintenance.
- Promote a healing environment, infection prevention, and patient safety while coordinating care across shifts and team members.
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the appropriate care providers and participate in ongoing quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Active NYS RN licensure
- BLS and ACLS (AHA or RQI only) certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting with adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations
