Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Travel assignment starting 05/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,191–$2,306. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. This role is in a hospital setting and requires float between two medical-surgical/telemetry units with MS overflow coverage in ICU and ED as needed. Epic EMR experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including monitoring, assessment, and documentation of evolving conditions.
- Float between two medical-surgical/telemetry units and provide MS overflow coverage in ICU and ED as needed.
- Administer medications and therapies per policy, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and communicate with the care team for coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and patient care policies while maintaining professional standards during night shifts.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Hawaii) or eligibility for Hawaii licensure
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Ability to float between MS/Tele units and provide MS overflow coverage in ICU/ED
- Night shift availability and flexibility to adapt to a travel assignment
- Relevant Med-Surg/Telemetry experience in acute care settings
- Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
