Travel Surgical Tech Job
Surgical Tech for a travel temporary assignment in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Start date 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,327–$1,402 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and instrument trays, ensuring sterile technique and proper equipment for each case.
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team, maintain the sterile field throughout procedures, and assist as needed.
- Support the surgical team during procedures, including handling implants, suction, and tissue management as directed.
- Maintain accurate instrument counts, assist with specimen labeling and handling, and document intraoperative events as required.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and turnover between cases, and support rapid response in trauma-related surgeries.
- Participate in on-call coverage and weekend/holiday schedules; comply with scheduling and institutional policies.
Requirements
- Travel experience required for this assignment
- Level 1 Trauma experience with a demonstrated high skill rating on the skills set
- Burn experience preferred
- Availability for day shift with on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity surgical environment
