Travel Surgical Tech Job
Travel Surgical Technologist – OR, Atlanta, GA, US. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. You’ll work a Day shift on a 12x3 schedule (12-hour shifts, three days per week) with call, weekends, and holidays in a hospital operating room setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,339 to $1,389.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for procedures, including arranging sterile instruments, drapes, and supplies
- Scrub in and assist the surgeon, passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures
- Assist with instrument counts, specimen labeling, and proper handling of implants or implants when applicable
- Prepare and position patients, apply drapes, and assist with surgical setups as directed by the surgical team
- Manage turnovers between cases, ensuring proper cleaning, re-sterilization, and readiness for the next case
- Collaborate with the surgical team, monitor aseptic technique, and respond to urgent needs in trauma or emergent scenarios as required
Requirements
- Travel experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience with demonstrated skill in high-acuity cases
- Burn experience preferred
- Ability to work a day shift with on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment and collaborate within a surgical team
