Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant support under the supervision of a licensed PT, implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, ROM activities, gait training, strengthening programs, and ADL-focused activities as prescribed
- Monitor patient responses and document progress in timely, accurate notes; communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Assist with transfers, bed mobility, and equipment setup; support patient safety and risk management during therapy sessions
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety precautions, and activity modifications
- Maintain compliant documentation and adhere to confidentiality, privacy, and facility policies
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligible for licensure transfer
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Clinical experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively under supervision and document patient progress accurately
- Availability to start on 06/01/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment
