Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU (Travel) in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 07/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $1,667–$1,736. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Setting: hospital-based PCU/IMCU unit with a cardiac patient population.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to PCU/IMCU patients with cardiac conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain, within a 28-bed unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry; titrate and administer cardiac medications as ordered (Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors)
- Collaborate with cardiology and the broader care team; respond promptly to ACS events and follow STEMI/NSTEMI protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record; record vital signs, input/output, and assessments; ensure timely charting for telemetry and higher-acuity patients
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and clinical standards; ensure BLS/ACLS compliance and provide patient/family education as needed
- Manage patient assignments within a 1:3–4 nurse-to-patient ratio; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as required
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a facility of similar size (28-bed PCU/IMCU)
- Documented PCU/cardiac population experience; familiarity with STEMI/NSTEMI, CTS, chest pain
- Ability to work in telemetry-enabled PCU/IMCU beds and adapt to a 1:3–4 ratio
- Graduation from an approved nursing program with RN licensure
