Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote safety and prevent injuries
- Monitor resident condition and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with meal service and monitor intake, supporting hydration and nutrition
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and observe care plans
- Follow infection control guidelines and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate with licensed staff to implement individualized care plans and ensure resident comfort
Requirements
- Active CNA certification (state-appropriate) or eligibility to practice in New Mexico
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and sustain performance on long shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfort performing essential CNA duties in a long-term care setting
- Willingness to comply with pre-employment health screenings and background checks
- High school diploma or equivalent
