Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate EP lab equipment and mapping systems for EP studies, ablations, and Watchman device cases; maintain sterile technique and room readiness.
- Assist physicians during EP procedures, including ablations and left atrial appendage device implantations; monitor patient status and respond to intra-procedural changes.
- Document procedure data accurately, ensuring complete and compliant charting and data capture.
- Manage EP lab supplies and equipment maintenance; support room turnover and instrument readiness between cases.
- Adhere to ACLS/BLS protocols, regulatory requirements, and NJ licensure; participate in safety and quality initiatives within the EP program.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey license required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years' EP lab experience with ablations and Watchman devices
- Flu vaccination required or approved declination
- Ability to work in an EP lab environment and support a travel assignment schedule
