Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: $2,277–$2,390 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 2x3 Nights (12-hour shifts)

- Local rate eligible for applicants within 50 miles
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a progressive care/step-down (PCU) environment, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and coordinating with the care team.
- Perform frequent assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the charge nurse and medical team.
- Manage IV therapy, telemetry, and routine procedures appropriate to a PCU/step-down unit.
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, and other disciplines; respond to changes in patient status and escalate as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record; Cerner experience is preferred but not required.
- May be requested to float to affiliated campus locations within the region as part of unit needs.
Requirements
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact license valid for submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years of PCU/Stepdown nursing experience
- Nursys license verification with current active licenses
- Ability to work in a hospital PCU/Stepdown setting; 12-hour night shifts
- RTO (time off) must be included at submission
- Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
Education and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (NH or Compact)
- BLS certification; ACLS certification
