X-Ray Technologist (Radiology Tech) – X-ray Specialty in Rochester, New York. Travel assignment starting 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Shift is 12-hour shifts. Weekly pay range is $2,309 to $2,373 per week. Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed. This assignment is in a hospital setting and includes on-call responsibilities as defined by the unit.

Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and review physician orders before beginning x-ray procedures.
- Use radiographic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images per physician orders; ensure proper patient positioning.
- Explain procedures to patients, respond to questions, and assist with positioning, including lifting or moving patients as needed.
- Maintain radiation safety practices to minimize dose and promptly report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
- Utilize electronic patient information systems and PACS to verify patient name, exam details, and provider comments; adhere to dual patient identifier procedures.
- Produce diagnostic-quality images for radiologist interpretation and maintain accurate patient records and proper image tagging.
Requirements
- NYS license (or ability to obtain license prior to starting)
- ARRT certification; completion of an approved School of Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 2 years X-ray Technologist experience; Level 1 trauma center experience and OR experience preferred
- Experience using C-arm/O-arm imaging; must have recent use within 8 months
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to report within 30 minutes for on-call shifts and to work in a hospital/OR environment
