Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents within the scope of practice for an LPN
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration in the chart
- Monitor residents’ status, vital signs, and respond to changes in condition
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility support as needed
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other team members to implement care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure patient safety and privacy
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state: New Mexico) or eligibility to practice
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (18:00–06:30) and meet unit needs
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening as part of onboarding
