Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic imaging for interventional radiology procedures using EPIC, PACS, and Siemens Artis-Q equipment.
- Assist interventional radiologists during procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety.
- Prepare patients, administer contrast materials as ordered, monitor for adverse reactions, and document findings per protocol.
- Operate C-arm fluoroscopy and related imaging systems; uphold ALARA principles and radiation safety standards.
- document procedures in EPIC and manage imaging data in PACS; ensure correct labeling and archiving of studies.
- Collaborate with technologists and nursing staff; participate in on-call rotations and cross-coverage as needed.
- Potential to assist in OR/ENDO procedures requiring C-Arm during interventional cases.
Requirements
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- New York license as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT certification (Radiography)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience; 2 years preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in on-call rotations
- Travel assignment eligibility within a 75-mile radius; locals may receive local rate
