Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor resident status, document findings, and promptly report changes to the supervising RN
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support resident mobility and safety during night shifts
- Perform routine nursing tasks such as vital signs, wound care, and clinical observations
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain infection control practices and ensure resident safety in compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (state-specific as required)
- Current licensure in good standing
- Ability to work night shift and the 3x12 schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with basic electronic health record documentation and routine nursing tasks
