Physical Therapist – Travel - Temporary Assignment in Springfield, VT, United States. Start date May 4, 2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: 2,200 to 2,316 USD per week. Responsibilities
- Provide PT evaluations and treatments across a broad range of diagnoses, including post-operative care, orthopaedic and sports injuries, back/neck pain, balance and vertigo issues, and general deconditioning.
- Implement manual techniques and therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and patient education to support individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Document care in the designated EMR system and coordinate with PTAs and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes.
- Adapt treatment plans for inpatients as needed while maintaining high-quality outpatient care when appropriate.
- Communicate progress with patients, families, and the care team; adjust interventions based on response and goals.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (required)
- Active Physical Therapy license in Vermont (or eligibility via licensure compact) and must be uploaded with profile
- Minimum 2 years of current PT experience (new graduates will not be considered)
- BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- CPSI EMR experience highly preferred
- Previous travel experience strongly preferred
- Able to work in a setting serving a variety of outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation needs
- Vehicle needed due to community characteristics and limited public transport; access to own transportation is required
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile submission; requests after offer may be rescinded
