Registered Nurse, ER — Gloucester, MA, United States. Travel - Temporary Assignment starting 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,570-$2,654 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12). Setting: hospital ER. On assignment, may be required to float to another site if necessary. Requires 2+ years of telemetry experience and 1 year of prior travel nursing. Active MA RN license with ACLS/BLS-AHA and TNCC; PALS or ENPC (equivalency) also acceptable. Must be able to read ECG strips. Flu vaccine required during onboarding; biweekly orientation; must have been separated from a previous role by at least 6 months.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and treatment of a broad range of acute conditions.
- Interpret telemetry readings and ECG strips; respond to arrhythmias and patient changes per policy; implement appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, perform procedures within scope, and document all care in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver safe patient care; facilitate clear handoffs.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, including monitoring for deterioration and initiating escalation when needed.
- Compliance with unit policies, including on-clifi/float expectations and required onboarding steps.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- 2+ years telemetry (tele) experience; 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC required; PALS or ENPC (equivalency) acceptable
- Ability to read and interpret ECG strips; strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced ER setting
- Flu vaccine required during onboarding; telecommunication test administered on first day (pass/fail)
- Biweekly orientation; must be separated from a prior role for at least 6 months
