Overview
Travel Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical, in Atlanta, GA. This 13-week assignment starts 07/20/2026 with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are day hours on a 12x3 schedule. The role takes place in a hospital setting and involves care for diverse Med Surg patients. EPIC experience is required. No time off requests are allowed during the assignment. The patient mix includes urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular services.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for Med Surg patients across multiple specialties (urology, gynecology, ortho, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, vascular) in a hospital setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; administer medications and therapies per physician orders; monitor patient status and respond to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, case management, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes; perform unit-based rounds and participate in handoffs.
- Document thoroughly in EPIC, ensuring accurate medication administration, progress notes, and care plans; participate in care coordination and discharge planning.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; provide patient and family education appropriate to diagnosis and recovery.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia with Nursys license verification
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work in a hospital Med Surg setting and to fulfill a day shift 12x3 schedule
- No time off requests during the assignment (NO RTO)
- Candidate profile must include: resume/work history with no gaps >60 days, Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, and demographic information including a badge-appropriate photo
