Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date: 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,525–$1,634 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts, 3 nights in a row. Setting: ER within a hospital environment handling a very high patient volume.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and pediatric patients in a busy ED, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and treatment.
- Administer medications and perform procedures per protocols; document thoroughly in the EHR.
- Collaborate with ED physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; support resuscitations and urgent interventions as needed.
- Manage boarder patients in the ED and coordinate with inpatient units; may float to med/surg, step-down, or ICU as necessary.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality standards; communicate with patients, families, and care teams; complete accurate handoffs on transfer or admission.
Requirements
- Georgia RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC required
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a facility of similar size and trauma level (level 1 trauma facility)
- Ability to work in a high-volume ED and participate in a float pool; may float to adjacent units as needed
- Resume with no gaps; ED skills checklist and ED references
- Must be able to load demographics and badge photo as part of the application process
