Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients in a short-term acute care setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry data, and respond to arrhythmias and hemodynamic changes
- Administer cardiac medications per protocol (e.g., anticoagulants, diuretics, antiarrhythmics) and manage drips as applicable
- Assist with post-procedure care, including TR Band management and related monitoring
- document assessments, vitals, and care plans in EPIC EMR; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team; educate patients and families
- Maintain patient safety and infection control, with the ability to float to other acute care units as needed

Requirements
- Active Kansas Registered Nurse license and BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience; 2–5 years preferred
- Proficiency with cardiac medications, post-procedure care, and related protocols (TR Band initiation/removal, cardiac drips)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3 nights per week) and a travel assignment; willingness to float to all acute care units
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; stoically manage the care needs of telemetry patients
