Registered Nurse, PCU in Utica, New York, starting 11/23/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Schedule: 2x3 Nights with 36 guaranteed hours per week, pay range 2,260.00 to 2,471.00 per week. Unit: IMCU/PCU in an acute care setting, accommodating adults with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions. EMR: EPIC. The assignment requires floating as needed and includes chronic ventilation support where applicable.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, planful nursing care for IMCU/PCU patients, focusing on neuro, cardiac, trauma, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, post-op recovery
- Monitor vitals, neuro checks, hemodynamics, and respiratory status; respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and therapies per orders; manage lines and devices (A-line, temp pacer, chest tubes, BiPAP as needed); assist RT with ventilation
- Document thoroughly in EPIC; coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team; contribute to care planning and patient education
- Maintain patient safety, manage transfers and discharges, and adjust care as patients’ conditions evolve; float to other units as required by assignment
Requirements
- Active NY RN license; NURSYS license verification required; all RN licenses must be listed; RTO must be included at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (current)
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work in an IMCU/PCU setting; patient age range 18 and older
