- Setting: Busy CT department within a 325-bed short-term acute care facility, stroke center, ED and inpatient imaging
- Note: Local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible for travel contract
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging of head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis with or without IV contrast according to protocol
- Conduct vascular CTA and brain perfusion imaging for stroke protocols; support trauma and MSK imaging needs
- Prepare and administer contrast media; establish peripheral IV access; monitor patient safety during procedures
- Assist with procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and aspirations as needed
- Manage workflow in the ED and inpatient CT environment; collaborate with the team to maintain efficiency
- Utilize PACS for image storage and multiplanar reconstruction; ensure accurate charting in the electronic medical record
Requirements
- ARRT CT and ARRT radiography (R) certifications
- BLS certification
- Washington state radiologic technologist license (compact license acceptable; pending license considered), must have license in hand at submission for quick-start scenarios
- Minimum 1 year CT experience required
- Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule; weekend work required; willingness to float to support X-ray or nearby facilities as needed
- Preference for experience with neonatal/pediatric imaging and pediatric workflows
Education
