Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitors patient conditions, administers prescribed treatments, and documents responses.
- Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegates tasks appropriately.
- Coordinates care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Applies critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in daily patient management.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (California)
- ICU experience or demonstrated critical care nursing knowledge
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital environment
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Eligible for a travel assignment and able to commit to an 8-week assignment
