Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg and Tele patients on the night shift
- Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and IV therapies
- Document patient status, responses to treatments, and care plans in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education
- Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks, prioritizing patient flow, and ensuring patient safety
- Float to other units (ED, MCH) as needed, maintaining continuity of care and accurate handoffs
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and department education requirements

- Willingness to float to ED and MCH units as needed
- Ability to work independently and perform charge nurse duties when assigned
