Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients, including assessments, monitoring, and administration of medications.
- Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond promptly to changes in patient status; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the Epic EMR.
- Support safe patient flows, discharge planning, and coordination with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and standards of care; respond to codes per policy and lead or assist as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Tele experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Epic EMR experience
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (7a-7:30p; 7p-7:30a) and every other weekend/holiday
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program; RN licensure in Massachusetts
