Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor responses.
- Supervise and direct activities of multiple levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
- Document care accurately, recognize changes in patient condition, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Oncology nursing experience or equivalent inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and function effectively in a fast-paced care environment
- Travel‑assignment eligible and able to participate in a temporary relocation
