Travel Radiology Interventional Radiology Tech Job
Interventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech) – Radiology, traveling to Kansas City, Kansas. Start date: 06/14/2026. 13-week assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,857–$3,100. Shift: 4x10-hour days (Mon–Fri with a rotating day off). This position involves support in a high-volume IR suite in a large hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist IR physicians during interventional radiology procedures, including sterile scrub, equipment setup, patient positioning, and room preparation
- Operate imaging systems as directed, ensure image quality, and maintain radiation safety for the patient and staff
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, assist with contrast administration, and monitor patient status during procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and document procedures, patient data, and equipment usage accurately
- Adhere to ALARA and institutional safety protocols; participate in routine equipment checks and room turnover
- Collaborate with the IR team, anesthesia and nursing staff to support a fast-paced, multi-room environment
Requirements
- Active ARRT Radiography certification (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (application can be initiated after offer)
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience; scrub experience required
- 3 years IR experience preferred; peripheral and neurovascular experience beneficial
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced IR suite with multiple rooms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety and sterile technique
