Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under licensure guidelines and document the care provided.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition; recognize acute issues and communicate promptly to supervising staff.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility to support resident independence and safety.
- Perform routine nursing tasks within the LPN scope and document in the resident chart accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other team members to implement care plans and modify care as ordered.
- Maintain infection control practices, safety procedures, and wound care per care plans and facility policy.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico
- Ability to work night shifts and a 3x12 schedule
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Must meet standard pre-employment checks and screenings
