Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care travel assignment in Geneva, NY. Start date 06/02/2026 for a 14-week contract. Shifts are 2x12 rotating evenings, with every other weekend and holiday. Weekly pay ranges from $670 to $697 per week. There are no guaranteed hours. The assignment is in a skilled nursing facility and requires NY LPN licensure and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Collect data on residents’ physical and psychosocial status and communicate findings to the RN and Interdisciplinary Team
- Contribute to a developmentally appropriate, culturally relevant plan of care, involving the resident/family and healthcare team
- Recommend revisions to the plan of care based on resident outcomes and coordinate referrals as needed
- Collaborate with residents, families, and team members to ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain current knowledge and competency through continuing education and in-service programs; assist with mentoring/orientation of staff
Requirements
- Active NY Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
- BLS certification through American Heart Association or RQI
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care setting
- Ability to provide care to adult and geriatric residents
- Must be able to begin full-day orientation
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as scheduled
