Travel Registered Nurse Stepdown Job
Registered Nurse – Stepdown in Cleveland, Ohio. Travel assignment starting 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,003–$2,109 per week with no guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients requiring medical step-down level of care
- Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and cardiac rhythms; administer prescribed medications and therapies
- Establish and manage IV lines, pumps, infusions, and other clinical equipment
- Perform accurate assessments, develop and implement care plans, and document in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams; participate in handoffs and rounds
- Respond promptly to clinical changes and emergencies; apply ACLS/BLS protocols as needed
- Support discharge planning and patient education to promote recovery and safety
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Ohio (active)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for healthcare providers, from the American Heart Association
- BSN preferred
- Experience in medical-surgical or step-down care setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a hospital/clinic environment
