Travel Registered Nurse CVICU Job
Registered Nurse – CVICUTravel assignment in Robbinsdale, MN. Start date 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating. Weekly pay: $2,289–$2,381 per week. This is a travel–temporary assignment in an inpatient CVICU unit. Estimated hours: 60 per 2-week period. No on-call required.

Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, specialized nursing care to CVICU patients, including postoperative cardiothoracic surgery cases.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to physiologic changes per unit standards.
- Develop, implement, and revise the patient’s plan of care in collaboration with the care team; coordinate care among disciplines.
- Administer medications, manage devices (as applicable), and assist with life-support interventions and post-op recovery.
- Document care in the electronic health record (Epic) and communicate effectively with physicians, supervisors, and families.
- Participate in unit-based practice standards, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
- 1+ year RN experience; required experience with fresh open heart surgery patients
- Interpretation of cardiac rhythms required
- Experience with Impella and balloon pumps preferred
- Adult and geriatric population experience required
- Epic experience required
- Skills checklist current within 1 year; two supervisory references with dates employed required
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work in a fast-paced CVICU environment
