Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) in a Critical Access Hospital setting. Location: Fort Bragg, California. Start date: 06/22/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts. Weekly pay: $1,595–$1,684. This travel temporary assignment places you in a high-acuity ICU environment within a rural hospital setting, providing exposure to critical care patient management and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ICU patients, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and interventions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, hemodynamic support, and ventilator management per physician orders.
- Document patient data, orders, and care plans accurately in the Cerner electronic health record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond to emergencies, participate in rapid response and code procedures, and maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
- Communicate with patients and families, provide ongoing education as appropriate, and support discharge planning as needed.
Requirements
- Active California RN license (in good standing)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 3 years of ICU/critical care experience within the last 3 months in the submitted unit specialty
- Cerner experience is a big plus
- Ability to work night shift in an ICU setting; strong critical thinking and communication skills
