Responsibilities
- Perform basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients as ordered by the physician and in accordance with department policies.
- Demonstrate the ability to work well without supervision and, as delegated, provide supervision over others.
- Administer respiratory therapies as prescribed and monitor patient response and condition.
- Complete documentation in the electronic medical record, maintain flow sheets, and handle charges for each patient.
- Maintain respiratory care equipment, follow safety and infection-control policies, and collaborate with the care team to support patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license (as required by the job notes).
