Interventional Radiology Technologist (Radiology) travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, United States. Start date 06/14/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range $2,771 to $2,959. No guaranteed hours. Shift is 4x10-hour days (40 hours/week), with a rotating day off. Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures; assist physicians with imaging and sterile technique
- Operate Siemens Artis imaging systems in a single-plane configuration to support IR interventions
- Scrub and circulate during procedures; manage intra-procedural imaging and documentation
- Monitor patient status pre- and post-procedure; ensure radiation safety, infection control, and equipment readiness
- Maintain case flow and contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork; may float to other IR sections as needed
- Accurately document procedures and assist with equipment turnover and cleanup
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (to be obtained upon offer)
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology scrub experience required
- 3 years IR experience preferred, with large-hospital exposure; peripheral and neurovascular experience beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR suite with multiple rooms; M–F schedule with 40 hours/week
- Eligible to work in the United States and able to travel to the assignment location
