Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures (X-ray) per physician orders with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Properly position patients, select exposure factors, protect patients and staff, and maintain radiologic safety in alignment with ALARA principles
- Operate radiology equipment, process images, and ensure accurate documentation within the EPIC EMR
- Verify patient information, procedure details, and correlate findings with radiologists and clinicians as needed
- Communicate clearly with patients and the care team; participate in team coverage, including potential weekend shifts or time-off coverage
- Adhere to facility protocols, maintain equipment readiness, and participate in ongoing workflow improvements
Requirements
- ARRT certification required (Radiography) and ARRT license verification
- BLS certification required
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Teaching facility experience required
- Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience required OR case, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm experience required
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and to adapt to required shifts, including evenings and potential weekend coverage
- Demonstrated reliability with complete employment history documentation as requested
