Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist needed for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility located in Brooklyn, Maryland. Start date: 04/06/2026. This 13-week assignment offers guaranteed 35 hours per week with a 5x8 day schedule (typical shift 08:00–16:30). The weekly pay range is $2,283 to $2,340.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing PT evaluations for residents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address mobility, strength, balance, and functional goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, ROM, and activity modification as part of restorative care.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records; communicate outcomes with the interdisciplinary team and physicians.
- Collaborate on discharge planning and transitions of care to support safe, timely patient movement.
- Maintain safety, patient dignity, and adherence to regulatory requirements during therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy license in Maryland
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or geriatric rehabilitation settings preferred
- Ability to work in a busy skilled nursing environment and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
